Thank you for understanding everything, my sister and I actually respect how much your family gone through, and I'm sorry again,...at least your dad seems pretty much nice decent guy who actually do what is right for the family (namely an wife and children) and country, unlike my own dad who is a obese fucking mule of an selfish brutal faithless irresponsible sloppy disrespectful psychotic ignorant loser immature ugly coward that always hangs around with scumbags and strangers and even his own side of the family (namely his equally ignorant psychotic ugly mom and four siblings), never go out to war to defend the country, always screaming in rage (rather than fear) while wetting his bed even in his adulthood (which rather annoying than heartbreaking) and never went to seek professional help and he always gone berserk every time my mom or my sister or I try to talk senses to him and never settles down for a moment. Believe me, betrayal of domestic abuse from a family member that was supposed to protect/support you is a whole lot worse than the memories of war that haunts and traumatizes a family member, that's how my sister views in 'Puppet Zelda'...your family is lucky to have a more supportive father to you and your sister and faithful husband to your mom, I deeply am sorry for what your old man had been experienced. And my mom? She's not really video-game person, in fact she prefers her comfort in jogging outdoors, riding bicycles and walking with dogs, and both my sister and I were doing the same thing but that was a long time ago when we were kids--you see, our two Great Danes are dead and our shit-for-brains dad broke our bikes, now our mom is sitting-duck even she's currently old! Her side of the family, never actually got to meet them because they're far away. Back in 2006--when my sister and I were both teenagers--on my time and point of view, when we first brought the Wii console (though "Twilight Princess" was more expensive when it first released for Game-Cube than it is now, and that was before we brought the Wii copy of that game in 2007 on her birthday...yeah she wanted to play it because she thought it was a spin-off and a refined adaptation of those two CD-I games "Wand Of Gamelon" and "Zelda's Adventure" due to the fact that Princess Zelda actually has her own sword, until later on when she start playing it), my sister became amused by it so she doesn't mind playing other Wii games (except "Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian" action game, not because of the plot it's because it so goddamn hard/difficult to even try pass the stage where she tried to stop three of the White Witch's remaining minions from sacrificing Prince Caspian to complete the resurrection of the White Witch herself, yeah that was a real waste of time) and she creates the Mii avatars for the whole family including the one for our dad...and while we were waiting for him to come home from work playing "Wii Sports" with us, but all he does was to walk early 6 in the evening straight to bed skipping the supper (which either my mom or my sister also made for him), pretty much as waking up early 6 in the morning skipping breakfast, he's totally ungrateful that he always eat junk food out at work! Making my sister missed the final episode of "Gundam Seed Destiny" was the last straw she ever wait for him to join the Wii party, so as retribution and in anger she deleted his Mii avatar because he's more interested in playing mind-fucking figurative games like a criminal who gets away of everything than playing the literal ones like a normal person to have fun with his family (again namely a spouse and children), so she started to think that our dad is figuratively dead to her (another thing which she viewed in 'Puppet Zelda') as he is to me when I was angry because he didn't teach me how to drive. Of course, me and our mom don't play Wii games often because we both are weaker, wimpier and stiffer than my sister who sadly yet gladly playing the Wii alone for recent years but she didn't delete our Mii avatars, I know she was trying to be nice...and by the way, your sister maybe older than you but mine is four years younger than me, she was born on the same year as "The Legend Of Zelda" first released, and currently I have a real job at Superstore. My grandpa (my dad's dad, of course), on the other hand, was exactly like your dad except he never went out to war either, in fact he was a honest hard-working business-man of his own right but my grandma, uncles, aunt and dad screwed him over like he was trash and taken him for granted and the only family members who truly cared about him and respected him are me, my sister and my mom while he actually respected us with genuine kindness. That's right, we were the only ones who even paid him visits in the hospital prior to his death by natural cause (while his own wife and children too busy goofing off like drunken assholes they still are), but that the time when my sister and I were still little kids back then...and after he died, our douche-bag relatives sold all of our dear grandpa's stuff for nothing except--you guest it--drugs, booze and porn, those bigoted sickos... while that bronze statue of a Pegasus was the only priced possession we had from him and cherished to remember by, we really missed him so much. Well, I'm very glad we understand each other and I'm even glad that you dad is a lot better.
Since you saw differently in 'Puppet Zelda' differently than the way my sister does I have no intention to make enemies with you nor seeking trouble for no reason, honestly, because your family is more normal than my dad's side of my own family and you're mostly right about the difference between us, at least me, my sister and my mom are the only decent and sympathetic people in the bunch. As for me, three years before my sister was born I won the classic Nintendo console from McDonald's when I was a one-year-old, and so I'm also more an "Super Mario Brothers" fan plus the only Mario games I played are the first three and I still do now on the computer, that's another reason why I don't play "Legend Of Zelda" pretty often. The reason why neither us able to beat "The Legend Of Zelda 2" as kids is because we don't have a strategy guide-book for it, luckily after years later we have a computer and the interect when I download both that game and the guide, there my sister finally beat it as the fourth game of the franchise. But still, featuring 'Ganon's Puppet Zelda' into "Twilight Princess" was a lazy/stupid idea, a bad choice at the wrong timing, toxic to my sister's soul and is a mental torture to both her eyes and ears, and is clearly unsatisfying and unfair, I mean "Twilight Princess" was scary enough without 'Puppet Zelda' in it (in fact a Goron and a Yeti being possessed and becoming bosses are enough without having another one involved...at least they do have monstrous changes) when Nintendo could have design either "A Link To The Past" earlier at 1992 or "Spirit Tracks" (which they did anyway) later at 2009 as the first official game directly to have Link actually fight against Zelda near the end, any other game--where Zelda is more weaker/wimpier than TP!Zelda, and where she doesn't have a sword of her own nor wield it--would have been fine. On my sister's behalf, I already warned some people who haven't played "The Legend Of Zelda" games, about the plot of "Twilight Princess" that will mind-rape them it did to my sister. Plus wise/pure people are supposed to be immune to 'demonic possessions', which works well on the weaker minded and the maimed, and dark powers are supposed to eat all of their unsuspecting host's beauty away and leaving behind deformity...I mean controlling Zelda isn't enough, Ganondorf was suppose to eat all of Zelda's physical beauty away while he possess her body as a result transforming her into uglier version of herself (no longer elegant, I'll say) so he could have make her unrecognizable for Link and Midna who thought she's just another random vicious un-dead monster--particularly a mask-less Shadow Beast--that's plastering them (as a frequent mini-boss next to King Bulblin) during their mirror-shard quest until near the end they almost killed her...how hard for the Nintendo officials thought of that or is Ganondorf too lazy to do it? Wouldn't it be make more sense? Either that or he could have choose Ilia as his puppet after she quickly killed off by the arrow and the Bulblins took her corpse and hand it over to him, it could have make sense too. In "Sailor Moon" where Tuxedo Mask and Rini turns evil was bad enough without a "Legend Of Zelda" game having same thing. So my sister, as she told me, creates her own version/adaptation of those games in the form of the fan-fiction stories with more rational, relevant plot-lines that make more sense...one is of "A Link To The Past", a project is twice as scary inspired from the "Evil Dead", based on both her childhood failed attempts to beat "The Legend Of Zelda 2" and her twelve year old hatred toward 'Puppet Zelda' (who really does need a extra load of 'monstrous change' through self-harm mutilations and rapid decay for the concept at least)...and the other is of "Twilight Princess", a project that is a No-Puppet-Zelda Zone (also known as an All-Normal-Zelda Territory, which means it has nothing to do with 'Ganon's Puppet Zelda' whatsoever, means 'Puppet Zelda' is utterly been adapted out), based on both her inspiration from "Wand Of Gamelon"/"Zelda's Adventure" and her earlier hopeful expectations for that game prior to its actual release in 2006. Though the projects are pretty big that she still working on like any imaginative person would do, you and your big sister must be patient to give my little sister some time to complete the project. I'll let you know when she finish.
I'm pretty sure she's sincerely sorry for calling you a 'mad-cow-jizz-drinking Luke-Skywalker sucker type' earlier, she had no idea that you're younger than us, having an equally 'eccentric' sister and having an good father...you see, normally tends to have a bone with most of those who are at my age or older--those who have no spine for "Evil" and "Fright Night" and paid no attention to "The Hobbit"/"The Lord Of The Rings"--those who don't care whatever 'Puppet Zelda' was a flat-out mistake or not as long as they're just shallow-minded porn-junkies...just as they don't care if "The NeverEnding Story 3" or "Batman & Robin" or "Mortal Kombat 2" or "Zootopia" or "PowerPuff Girls 2016 Reboot" is bad/sleazy or not. But nonetheless, she's still proud of being a 'bat-credit-card-hating Nostalgia-Critic kicker type', and she's not the only one...there are some poeple (including your sister, I bet) out there who hated 'Puppet Zelda' as much as she does. She still loves TP!Zelda only as a 'Normal Zelda', and clearly plays "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" On the Wii and "Super Smash Bros. 4" on the Wii-U more often she did with "Twilight Princess" so history wouldn't repeat itself in her mind. So, are we good?
Oh, yeah. There is something else that I wanted to ask you on my sister's behalf, she recommended these, 7 in total:
1: Have you watched the two "Care Bears" movies (one has "The Nutcracker" and the other has "Alice In Wonderland") and the "Nostalgia Critic" reviewer episode about them? Because, for example, the staff members who made those movies are either too inpatient, lazy and rush to give their respective cast of supportive characters an different concept. That's a kind of laziness which my sister sees in the Nintendo staff members when they did to Zelda in "Twilight Princess" when the First-4-Figures corp. became complete suckers for it, surely you understand that.
2: Have you watched the "Evil Dead" franchise, as well as "Fright Nights" and "Repossessed" (which is a parody to "The Exorist")? Because, for example, the characters from those movies are not just come off as empty shells of their former selves when taken over by something beyond they own control but also having complete monstrous changes through self-harm mutilations and rapid decay (which 'Puppet Zelda' really need for the appearance) while at it. As Edgar Frog (from "The Lost Boys") put its 'there's nothing sexy about being the momeber of the un-dead', and Ash Willaims (the main protagonist of "Evil Dead") in "The Army Of Darkness" said to Sheila who's now another mindless Deadite (like his old girlfriend Linda had been previously) 'Honey, you get really ugly', it's pretty logic. Of you have enough spine for it.
3: Are you familiar with the J.R.R. Tolkien books, "The Hobbit" and "The Lord Of The Rings"? Because, for example, orcs were once elves, they lost their beauty, decency, humanity, wisdom, dignity and purity due to the demonic possessions, long-term brutal tortures and rapid decay. According to Peter Jackson during behind-the-scenes 'We made the orcs really ugly, not with sense of beauty or elegance, just crude ugliness', that's also logic. Nintendo should have made 'Puppet Zelda' look like an orc.
4: Have you watched three "Angry Video-Game Nerd" review episodes about the Phillips CD-I games? Because first of all, it's funny and that's where my sister gets the reference from...and secondly, 'Puppet Zelda' doesn't existed in them.
5: Have you "Dragon's Lair" walk-through videos on YouTube? Because its plot-lines are more accurate than those of "Twilight Princess", though you don't need to actually play it. You can also watch the "Nostalgia Critic" review episode about "Dragon's Lair", it's also funny. Plus, for example, Princess Daphne (okay, she's not as wise as Zelda but that doesn't mean she's selfish) is also like someone you cares about has turned into a empty shell of her former self and having extra load of monstrous due to being taken over by something beyond her own control, that's somewhat more faithful of the "Evil Dead" logic than "Twilight Princess", Murdroc wasn't that lazy to actually turn her literaly into a mindless monster.
6: Have you either played "Batman The Telltale Series 2: The Enemy Within" or simply watched it as a walk-through video on YouTube recently? Because that's how my sister psychologically recovered from the "Twilight Princess" ordeal. It's portrayal of the Riddler is highly based on "Saw", an horror franchise (equally as gory as "Evil Dead", though) that doesn't have a involment of demonic possessions at all, just death traps.
7: Do you know who Holli Would, Azula and Azshara are, what they look like and what they do respectively? Because my sister said that they're everything like my dad (and his side of my family minus grandpa) and clearly nothing like both Daphne and TP!Zelda (if she's not being possessed by Ganondorf) personality-wise, pronto!

My dad is awesome, I wish everyone could have a great man like him as a dad. I'm so sorry you're dad wasn't that to you guys. Abuse is disgusting, no matter the form or from who. While I have, thankfully, never been abused by family, I have been abused by someone I called a friend. It's soul-crushing what that does to a person. I'm glad I've been able to recover from some of that and have been able to walk away from it with new knowledge.
My sister actually really liked puppet Zelda too. But she agrees that everyone is allowed to think whatever they want, good and bad. And that Nintendo/the Zelda series has had slip ups.
I'm not mad at you or your sister, why would I be? I just hold a different opinion and different views. If it had come down to straight attacking and vulgar words for no reason other than liking something, that'd be a different story. But I think this series between us was addressed fairly respectfully because we talk and were okay with sharing different opinions and, most importantly, willing to accept that it's okay we have different opinions. Understanding on both sides has gone a long way. I don't think Nintendo was being lazy or trying to appeal to 'porn junkies', your sister does. Oh well, that's that. We may still both walk away with different view, and maybe your sister still thinks I'm a 'mad-cow-jizz-drinking Luke-Skywalker sucker type', but what change is that really? It's just harsh words. I'm not going to let myself be defined by hard words, by someone else's opinion, what someone else does or the story they tell, not even by the pain someone else has put me through. They happen, not matter what. What matters is what I do in those situations. And I hope you and your sister find healing and understanding in the future.
As for your questions, here are my and, and some views and insights on them I have, regarding them as the following

1. I haven't watched those care bear movies, but I have watched the Nostalgia Critics of them. And as someone in the video game making industry and is a writer, I'd find it hard to say Nintendo was being lazy with Twilight Princess in any aspect. They were just telling a different story than the kind some people prefer. And from a game making stand point, I fell changing Puppet Zelda into a literal monster wouldn't match what they were trying to get at. The scene right before, where Midna is looks ready to literally try to claw ganon out of Zelda, but then she stops and can only look helplessly as Ganon takes her over. And when she touches her face, believing she's lost the princess that has helped her, that literally sacrificed herself earlier in the game to save her life, it's that subtle part where her eyes fly open and midna goes flying back that delivers Zelda has been taken over. But at the same time, still hints that she's still in there, somewhere. And you not only fight the darkness that has taken over her, but that part that's trapped as well. Turning her into a full on monster, I feel, would have taken that away from the player: they'd just see the monster, not the princess who's done so much for you and others. But again, opinions are opinions. To each their own.
2. Can't say I have. I actually have a pretty weak heart when it comes to horror things, just me. Probably part of why I think Puppet Zelda is fine the way she is. Not to mention Nintendo hasn't really been a horror game company to begin with. While it wouldn't be bad if they did something much darker, it would definitely be surprising.
3. I have read LOTR. A couple things to consider is this though. 1) The key phrase is 'long-term'. Zelda was only possessed for a small frame of time. Maybe longer and she would have changed, but again, I can't say because that didn't happen. 2) Nintendo is different from J.R.R Tolkien. And while the two are still both fantasy, they're not the same. They're going to tell different stories and have different view, especially as different cultures (Nintendo being japanese, Tolkien being English).
4. I haven't. And if they're on the CD-I games, which from my understanding you and your sister dislike, then of course puppet Zelda isn't in them. For one, she wasn't even an idea at the time. Second, they weren't Nintendo made...
5. Yes, I've seen both! I don't completely understand what you mean by 'more accurate'. And I can't recall a point where Princess Daphne is turned into a monster. I may be forgetting something, but from my perspective, it's a bit of an 'apples and oranges' situation again. They are two separate beings, made by two separate companies, with two very different cultures.
6. Can't say I have. Again, darker genres aren't my cup of tea. I'm sorry to know and hear how hurt your sister felt from Twilight Princess, and I'm glad she found something she enjoyed, even if other people don't agree with her or .
7. Unless you're talking about Azula from Avatar Last Airbender, I can't say I have heard of any of them. But I understand how heartbreaking it is to have family that hurts you. While I may not have family like that myself, I've seen it in friends and people around me. And I have been abused by an old friend. And I know how much damage that can do to a person. My heart goes out to you and your sister for having to live through that.

My sister personally prefer Telltale!Riddler as a far better, more efficient, practical, rational and decent kind of villain than Ganondorf. And clearly the hooded Riddler is a 'good' kind of nightmare (while 'Ganon's Puppet Zelda' is a bad kind) as Spooky states it when he was trying to scare the living daylights out of the Christmas-obsessed family (while pretending to be Casper in front Sniffle because the real Casper refuses/unable to do it) and failed to do so in "Casper's Haunted Christmas" film but that's a different story.
And why, you asked? Because the Riddler is more "Saw" themed and has no intention to literally possessing people nor has any ability to do so for he thinks is 'cheating' (not his proper kind of cheating anyway), plus he didn't even turned a magical princess into a godawful 'fuck-you' moment as Ganon did. In fact, according to my sister, the Riddler is more interested in doing something non-supernatural though still physically and psychologically enough, such as slitting someone's throat with his cane, strapping someone in one his high-tech torture-contractions and bombing someone with homing missiles.
I know that both "Twilight Princess" and "Batman, The Telltale Series 2: The Enemy Within" has nothing to do with each other, but I know one thing for sure. He may not shape-shifted himself into a monstrous literal boar at all, but during two whole bad-ass boss-fight scenes, you'll see that the Riddler doesn't need to be possessed by Ganondorf nor does he to actually possessing anyone else's body for that matter (that's because, again, both ways is cheating), in fact he always fights in the best combination of all three; in his own body, on his own willpower and armed with his own weapon, fair and square. So, Ganondorf sucks for being too lazy and stupid to transform Zelda into a hideous-looking biting-clawing-vomiting monster in dirty rags.

My sister hates this picture as much as she hates the very part from the game because it's even lazier and stupider than the three songs in "The Thief & The Cobbler", plus the colors for eyes and skin like these and fly around in midair isn't enough! In fact my sister told me that her own drawings always dedicated a 'Puppet Zelda' as an hideous (though fully unarmed) Gollum-like monster in only rags for a go-go enslavement outfit and endlessly drools black slime like the Orcs (in Peter Jackson's version) and the Penguin (in Tim Burton's version), not like this!

Well, my sister, Anti-Twili, never actually liked 'Puppet Zelda' either, in fact she didn't brought and play the game just for this adbomination she viewed as a the biggest 'fuck-you' moment of all that make feel sick to her stomach. It actually did creep her out but not in the good and rational way as the Deadites from "Evil Dead" did, she's fine with possessed characters in the horror movie but she sincerely did not need to see this. My sister said the part with 'Puppet Zelda' is rather stupid, boring and lazy, and it looks more like a cringe-worthy loser Holli, Azula, Poison Ivy, Jadis and Azshara meshed-up of a tattooed crook, a dirty coward and possibly a manipulative bitch in the sheep's clothing, rather than a actual possessed victim who's been led to the increasingly gory mayhem, suffers in facial-horror and body-horror, and force to wear only in filthy rags for go-go enslavement prisoner outfit.
Speaking of which, Holli, Azula, Poison Ivy, Jadis and Azshara are all always willingly be deceitful type of cynical assholes and never were possessed victims, to clarify this:
Holli is an evil greedy selfish seductress from "Cool World" who walks around in dirty streets, steals several night clubs and pushes a cop off the building.
Azula is an sadistic paranoid irresponsible fire-starter from "Avatar: The Last Air-Bender" who torments animals and people alike (including her own brother, mother, uncle and two friends) inc all of her life and banishes all of her own servants during her coronation to becoming the new Fire-Lord.
Poison Ivy in "Arkham" game version of the DC-Universe who, besides being poisonous hence the nickname, actually had a sickly green skin rather than a normal flesh-colored skin in "Batman & Robin".
Jadis, also known as the White Witch, from "Chronicle Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe" who somehow fight with the sword during the battle in the 2005 movie adaptation rather than a stone knife in material source of the book.
And, of course, Azshara is a lazy cowardly, skanky former-queen of the Night Elves from "Warcraft" who purposely betrayed her own people by feeding them to demon while she laughs at the massive carnage as if she gleefully enjoy watching the most exciting entertaining show like a mean-spirited child.
Those are what 'Puppet Zelda' look and act like this ways, and Anti-Twili doesn't like it. Characters, on the other hand, truly who are possessed vitcims because they did become hideous, monstrous and self-harm-induced mutilated versions of their former selves: namely, Adda the White (from "The Witcher"), Daphne (from "Dragon's Lair 2: Time Warp"), Regan (from "The Exorcist"), Cheryal, Shelly, Linda, Henrietta, Sheila, Mia, Olivia and N (all from "Evil Dead" frachise). Claire Brooster (from a "Beetlejuice" cartoon only) who was also a possessed victim in "Stage Fright" episode but she had it coming since at her willpower she just being a cynical asshole herself, serve her right! That is why 'Puppet Zelda' was supposed to be a hideous/deformed unhygienic monster herself just like them and it would be awesome if she's having a ultra sense of crude ugliness and led straight to increasingly gory mayhem rather than this, and yet Nintendo developers are either too fucking lazy and stupid to do it or too gutless/spineless to watched horror films that has gore in them!
Besides, my sister admitted that she love TP!Zelda but only as a 'Normal/Free-Willed Zelda' with blue eyes and clear flesh-colored skin, not THIS!
