Want to know how long this took? Too long, that's how long.
So, WAY back in April, this wonderful charming artist had her birthday, and while did do a da Muro pic, after seeing the large number of people who made her actual pics as gifts, I admit, I started to feel a little bad I didn't do the same (stupid thing to worry about, I know. But I worry about pointless things all the time). So, since then I've thought about doing an actual pic, but I kept putting it off and off and off and off and off and off.......yeah.
But, I say, no more! I said to myself "Alright Daniel, take this idea, and just bucking do it. Take your balls out of your purse, and freaking do it." So I freaking did it. And honesty, I really like the result. Alwatys in the mood t draw Rarity.
I listened to Slayer, Nostalgia Critic episodes, and the entire Super Meat Boy OST over and over again while making it. God, my ears hurt from my headphones. I've said it once, I'll say it again; Danny Baronowsky is a musical messiah. Seriously. (0_0)
Course, now that it's done, I have nothing to keep my distracted from ME3 downloading. Might as well go watch it, as the bar moves. So slowly. *sigh* Also, towards Ms. Diamonds, I hope you like this, and don't mind me making a birthday gift nearly a month after it. Let's just pretend it is your birthday , because it's fun to pretend. Like how I pretend I will actually make something out of my life, hehe.

Shame on me, really shame on me, for being away from deviantART for so many ages and missing out on seeing this picture... my dearest Daniel, I am so very sorry that it took me such a horrendously long time to respond to this, and that I left you hanging for so long... I really do feel absolutely terrible about that! This artwork is absolutely adorable, and just as before I can't even begin to express to you how much I appreciate it, as well as your extraordinary thoughtfulness to begin with! I really just love everything about this picture; Rarity adores hats as I do, pink and purple actually are my most favorite colors ever (how did you know?) and my favorite pony's expression is just fantastic here... I love the way you did the pretty sparkly spangled background and her fabulous manestyle as well, even! I really, truly cannot even begin to fathom what you could possibly be talking about when you say that you don't think you care for it anymore, because I love it, and in my opinion at least it is wholly lovable and charming, just like Rarity herself.
Once again, thank you so so much for doing this for me and for being such a thoughtful person, and please do accept my apologies for not seeing it for so long, and not expressing my proper gratitude in due time. It's long overdue at this point, but really, I appreciate it so much!

Well of course I would leave you such a long comment for something like this; you and the picture absolutely deserve it! That having been said, despite your words I am still regretful that it took me so long to see it, and now to respond to your response to me as well (goodness it is a vicious cycle), but yes I absolutely love it and you are a dear sweet thing for thinking of me and being so generous. Though I suppose I understand to a degree how you feel. I mentioned in one of my responses I still feel terrible about not doing anything beyond a Muro for your birthday, when I think you deserve so much better.
