Illustration I assignment was to do illustrations for a children’s book. A cover, then a two page spread. No text.

This is an extra page for the project. It shows Kate, Emily’s sister, with her cat in the morning. Emily sees this and wishes she had a cat, too. Thus the start to the story.

This was done from a photograph of my niece, Katy, who posed for me last Thanksgiving morning. So it looks a whole lot better than the Last Page one where i made the figure up. For on thing, the detail in the folds of clothing and blankets is much better in this one.
