A portrait of the actress Liv Tyler from the Lord of the Rings movies.
It's my first time using colored pencilsto do a portrait, so you can tell I was experimenting with using color in my drawings for the first time. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome, though I wish it could have been smoother and sharper, but the sketch paper is really rough... :/ I look forwared to doing more colored pencil portraits in the future though, it was really challenging.Prismacolor Colored Pencils

Thanks! Experiment with different techniques to smooth out your colored penciling. I am still experimenting with different techniques to get the colors to blend nicer and such.
