I've always wanted a samoyed. Yours is beautiful, and an amazing shot.

Very pretty dog
I have a Siberian Husky, and I think they originated in the same country.
Either way, great shot.

I believe so, they also were both working-class dogs.
Thanks for stopping by!

Wow! Mine is the same age, six or seven! We adopted him in 2000 from a Samoyed rescue and he was about 1, but they found it him a pound and put him in a foster home.

Wow, I can't really explain how much this photo has touched me. I just lost my Samoyed of 15 years last week, and this photo reminded me so much of her, it's really amazing. They are truly the greatest dog you can have, I have no doubt about it. It does make me sad to know I don't have that many good photographs of her, but I'm definitely adding this one to my favourites, so I can look back on it and smile (and maybe cry a little, but that's good too.).
Thank you.

I'm sorry you lost your Sammy, they are really the best dogs on earth. They are so friendly and loyal, and also very protective. It makes me feel so good that I'm making other people feel better because of this photograph.
Thank you for visiting!

Haha, too bad, despite all their other great traits, they were never known for their intelligence. As evident by their flat heads.
And I truly do feel better now. I mean, it's not much compared to having her around to pet or hug, but for some reason, looking at this is very soothing. Thanks again.

Thank you so much! I really didn't know what Samoyeds were either, until my family decided we wanted a dog, and we found an AKC organization that was a Samoyed rescue in our area. That's when we decided to adopt this dog. I think Samoyeds are probably the friendliest dogs around, they're really good with kids also and are very social. A lot of people I talk to have no idea what they are either. I'll be like, "He's a Samoyed." and they'll just go "Oh..."

Silly people. I think I love them so much because I have an infatuation with white animals...But they're really awesome pets, too. I miss my puppy
