Well guys, here it is, the latest location to the Roseburg & Western, Cleburne Hill.
The eastern slope of Cleburne Hill, located in northern Arkansas, is the steepest, most notorious grade on the R&W. The grade starts a few miles outside of Proxdale Junction and runs for 12 miles, averaging between 2 and 2.5% and briefly maxing out at 3% near the crest. Westbound freight trains are required assistance, depending on weight of train and class of locomotive(s).

Wow,3%?! What a battle, I feel bad for the engines that had to tackle that hill on a full load

That's only the maximum steepness, and even then it's brief, the grade for most of the run is 2 to 2.5%.

Even so, 2 is difficult, 3 is Ludacris and I still feel bad for them with a heavy load
