In Victor Tanzig's stories there's some things that I think are gone crazy and silly as they are, Donald and Douglas on Sodor in 1923 instead of 1959, Diesel not only based on LMS Class V1, built came in 1931 and Percy in 1934 instead of 1926, LNER and LMS on Sodor's Railways from Wellsworth and Suddery Railway and Elsbridge and Knapford Railway and finally seeing RailGate Prison, Mickey, Joey and the human character names on Sodor especially Kyle Harrigan, Nathaniel Preston, Henrietta Harrigan and Franklin Merve and I wonder of the manager of the K&ER is.

Plus I really like how he also combines elements from TUGS.

Just checking, DanielArksanEngine, just checking and I think Victor Tanzig's stories are weird for my liking.

What do you think of "Ode to George Carlin" of the link that I show you get to there by WildNorWester.

It's OK, I'm more into NWR1991 and Victor Tanzig than WildNorWester.

Don't be sad there DanielArkansanEngine, I was just saying that RUE took place in DC Comics and the RWS. By the way, Duncan will also be in Skarloey red from 1958 to 2009, where he was repainted yellow in honor of George Carlin for a little while from the events of "Ode to George Carlin". www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-QbrI…

I'm only following the Railway Series as Really Useful Engines is a mix of Railway Series retelling and adaptations, TV series adaptations, Magazine adaptations, Annual adaptations and original content including adaptation stories from "Thomas Creator Collective", there DanielArkansanEngine, cause I'll prefer the railway series looks on the Sodor Engines and in RUE as example stories for characters like: Meany, Stanley, Hurricane, Skiff, Frankie, Nia, Salty, Merlin, BoCo, Ryan, Sailor John, Dimmy, etc and stars character from DC Comics like: Oliver Queen, Ray Palmer, Jim Gordon, the Penguin, the Riddler, the Catwoman, Oswald Cobblepot, Selina Kyle, John Diggle, Slade Wilson, eLex Luthor, etc.

Okay, as Fred, Skarloey, Rheneas, Sir Handel, Peter Sam and Ivo Hugh will be in red, while Rusty in Black to follow the Railway Series books by Rev. W. Awdry and Christopher.

I didn't think you'd going with the RWS look. Nothing against it, I just prefer the TVS approach as the characters are more distinctive that way. That's an approach that most UK narrow gauge railways in real life do today.

Wonderful work!

Looks very similar to the Bridgton & Harrison Railroad #7 Β  Speaking of which, she's on the fast track to operation as of late!

Thanks.

He is B&H No.7 and what is the fast track?

SteamLocoFan98 In reply to DanielArkansanEngine [2014-09-11 21:30:47 +0000 UTC]

I mean, the Maine Narrow Gauge Museum has made leaps and bounds in making the return to steam of #7 possible Β  They've got the boiler sent to Boothbay for work - and the cab and tank are being rebuilt at Portland.

So they're getting close to being done?

SteamLocoFan98 In reply to DanielArkansanEngine [2014-09-11 21:33:01 +0000 UTC]

Well, the boiler still needs work, but #7 should be done by next year or 2016 if all goes well.
