May I use this to make the historicalΒ Pere Marquette 1225? Someone asked me to make one. Full credit will go to you of course.

I know, and I liked that, too.
But the book is what really takes me back more, too.
I mean, first time I read that story when I was very little, I began to love trains for the very first time, and I wanted to see something more, other than just read that story.
That was then I saw and read the Railway Series, the TV series, and, at the time, had Thomas & Friends ERTL merchandise.
I can't tell you how awesome that was, even when I saw lots of other documentaries of trains.

Wow. Though honestly for me, I'm not sure how or where my love of trains first began(and I'll probably never know), but I grew up with both Thomas and real trains. And I read the Polar Express book when I was little, but I'm not much of a reader. So I remember the movie more, and when I first saw it in a theater 10 years ago, it was one of the most mind-blowing experiences ever.

One question--although the engine in the movie is a Berkshire, I wanted to know what wheel arrangement the engine in the book was--I know it is a 4-x-2, and it's definitely not an Atlantic, but the bushes obscuring the drivers make it difficult to tell whether the engine is a Pacific or a Mountain.Β All my railfan friends say it's a Mountain, but I wanna be sure what you guys think.

It looks more like a Pennsy K4 with the headlight in the center of the smokebox.
