Description
Finally after months of hard work, research and frustration, I give you my largest OC to date, RMS Aphrodite.
Bio
Built in 1937 by Harland & Wolff in Belfast, Ireland(the same shipyard who built the Titanic), Aphrodite is the only member of her class of ocean liner, though two more were planned, but never came to be. She was built to serve the UK-to-America routes but did occasionally serve Mediterranean and Baltic Sea routes. During World War 2, Aphrodite was armed and converted into a troop ship, and was used to ferry thousands of American and Canadian troops across the Atlantic to the European front. After the war, she was disarmed and refurbish back into a luxury liner. She may have been the same ship outside as she was before the war, but Aphrodite will tell you that World War 2 changed her completely inside. Before the war, she was a pompous, elitist snob who looked down on anyone she considered beneath her, namely tramp steamers and fishers. But the war brought her down to the same level as the dirty trampers she turned her nose up at, and made her realize the hardships trampers have to deal with both in peacetime and in wartime. So after the war, she matured and began to grow more appreciative of the little things in life, and even grew to understand the tramper lifestyle, and how important a role they play in the maritime industry. Nowadays, she's based at Brendam on the Island of Sodor, she mostly cruises to Baltic Sea and Mediterranean destinations, but does occasionally go to the Canary Islands.

I'm the only person to make TUGS sprites based on Edwardian ocean liners.

I really have to wonder why for all these years, nobody with the exception of myself has ever thought of cobbling together recreations of the Titanic, Olympic, Lusitania and Mauretania.

Well, perhaps this is your answer. This ship here took me two and a half months to finish.
