Description After months of hesitation, I finally decided to upload my take on Sodor's newest rolling stock. Enjoy.

Note: Please do not draw me into any Duck vs. Emily debates, it was risky enough for me to upload these guys with all the controversy that surrounds their debut episode, hence my reluctance. I'm sick of it.Β

How come there are 3 of them? The faces don't look all that different to me.

It kinda takes a more keen eye to see the difference.

It would be cool if you made duck at the front.

It's still interesting to see the slip coaches be introduced as new characters. I wasn't expecting that in the slightest. This leaves room for their own personalities and real names to be revealed.

Yeah. But what I still don't get is that they give these guys, along with Annie and Clarabel faces embedded, but not Hernietta.

Maybe it's to make Henrietta's face more noticeable. While we're on the subject of tram cars having faces, I would like for Flora's tram car to have a face as well as a name: Titan.

OK.

Unlike Henrietta, whose face is facing away from Toby, I want Titan's face to be facing behind Flora's cab, because the back of Titan has a spiral staircase. I'm calling Flora's tram car Titan because it's taller than any other passenger carriage, but I'm now thinking of Amtrak's double-decker bogie coaches, so I MAY give the name Titan to one of those.

Cool.

holmesman In reply to DanielArkansanEngine [2014-10-29 20:13:11 +0000 UTC]

Plus, if Flora's tram car had its face where the staircase is, it would seem VERY awkward; it's like the tram car wants to eat the passengers that climb up the staircase. Maybe as for its name, I could call it Roger instead of Titan. The double-decker Amtrak coach would be very interesting in a Gordon episode.

I figured a bi-level coach would put Gordon's express career to the ultimate test; Titan could be too tall to fit through tunnels or Knapford Station's roof (I believe bi-level coaches aren't THAT tall in real life, though).

You don't say? I guess I get to be realistic with the story after all. I have so many ideas for stories, though. I'm not sure that when I actually start making my Thomas series, I'll be able to get to every story I come up with.

Thanks. I'm gonna need it. I mean, Keekre24 (aka ThomasWoodenRailway) on YouTube has his series Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends: Wooden Railway Adventures. Currently, he has done 159 episodes across 11 seasons, all while using Thomas Wooden Railway models. I'd be lucky enough to be like him.

Yeah, I mean just because a show is meant for kids doesn't mean that adults can't enjoy it as well.

Do you think it's meant for little girls? Is that your reason? I believe that would be the first thing people would say when they think of My Little Pony.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DanielArkansanEngine In reply to holmesman [2014-11-02 12:08:00 +0000 UTC]

That is true. But then again, Thomas was meant for younger kids, but both I hear are REALLY well written, hence the fan base.

Speaking of things in common, I've noticed some striking similarities between Thomas and SpongeBob.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DanielArkansanEngine In reply to holmesman [2014-11-02 18:36:06 +0000 UTC]

What's that?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

holmesman In reply to DanielArkansanEngine [2014-11-02 19:09:19 +0000 UTC]

Well, the biggest similarity that I have noticed is that both Thomas and SpongeBob suffered a terrible writing style for a brief period of time; in addition to having the absolute worst episode of all the episodes in their respective series (Thomas' Wonky Whistle and SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis), characters from both shows acted out of character and were butchered beyond belief (Partick Star acting like a jerk and Skarloey being silly).

Plus, both shows introduced new characters that only appeared in one episode; the only difference is that Thomas does this to turn them into toys, while SpongeBob sadly does not.

Interesting, but another difference is(for me personally) that I never really liked Spongebob.

Do you find SpongeBob annoying? People complained about the characters' personality changes as the show jumped the shark.
