Be honest, if you've seen both Avatar and Equestria Girls, there is no way that this idea did not cross your mind at some point. Considering how widely praised and acclaimed Zuko's redemption arc was, it's not too far-fetched to think it inspired and influenced other cartoon redemption arcs, including Sunset Shimmer's, for better or worse. But yeah, it'd be interesting to see these two hit it off, talking about their struggles and such.
