Thirteenth drawing of the initial courses of Pokemon Art Academy  .

After a depressing period at school and forgetting to post something on Christmas Eve and Christmas, I'm back with another Pokémon Art Academy illustration .

If I'm honest, this is another one of those Pokémon that I don't recognize at all, since I'm not very fond of the franchise . I stayed with the first seasons of the anime, and I haven't gotten into the games yet, even though I decided to play Pokémon Yellow. However, I love the starry background that I chose for this octopus .

And, well, since I haven't published in a long time, it's time to talk about a few things that are not at all related to illustration, as is typical of me .

First things first, I finished the semester of school, but everything that could go wrong in that semester happened . I had a professor of the type who didn't know what she wanted but knew she wanted it, demanding a lot of things that didn't make sense to be there, and that really delayed the development of a program that I was doing with my team to accredit social service. As a result, we had to ask for an extension of the delivery time for both the final project with this subject and for the social service work, so my team and I will have to interrupt our vacations to go to the school in person to deliver the project .

I also had that teacher in another class, which I ended up failing because my team only started working when deadlines were running out, leaving me stranded most of the time . And, as my teacher seems to live in another plane of existence where we only exist for and to comply with her classes, I couldn't negotiate with her so that she could approve the subject based on some work .

If by chance I see her name again on the subject list for the following semester as the only teacher who can teach classes in at least one subject, I will no longer continue my studies. I know it sounds silly to drop out having come this far, but I'm not willing to invest another year of my life in something that has given me many bitter moments . But it is not the worst, since both subjects that he gave in the semester were branched, that is to say, that to enter certain classes of the coming semester he had to pass said subjects first; the detail is that if I fail a subject in an even semester, for example, you must wait a whole year to retake said subject or go to summer classes, which cost a lot and the teacher in question must be convinced to open said subject in summer .

So I have those two options: suffer through another two years of college or start looking for a job. However, right now I won't worry about it, and I still need to fix the social service so it doesn't affect my teammates. But the most likely thing is that I get into a government program that is basically like a scholarship in which they already put you to work for a year with the minimum wage. It's not much, but at least it will help my family with household expenses, and if I do well, maybe I'll be offered to work there for a decent salary after finishing the program .

Well, having finished explaining, more or less, my situation with the school, let's talk about my personal projects.

Right now I am continuing with the development of the 3D model of Man Eater (Shin Megami Tensei), which was going to be used for the 256fes Challenge; however, I didn't want to leave it unfinished, so right now I'm working on the texture of the character. I also tried to develop a game for a Game Jam, but all my school to-dos piled up and in the end I couldn't deliver anything . That does not mean that I abandoned the game that I wanted to make for Game Jam, so these days I have been working on the animations of the main character of the game . When I have something to present I will post it on my Ko-fi.

Last but not least, I have also been redesigning the characters of the game for the university that I had shared here, this to give it a style more according to my tastes . With these redesigns I plan to create my own game inspired by Shin Megami Tensei, just as I wanted to do from the beginning. In my Ko-fi I published the redesigned main character, if you like to go and see.
