Here's a painting I finally finished !(I started it around a month ago, but I run out of inspiration to work on it until now
)Done with watered acrilic paint, brushes and pencil, references used.
Neither The Little Mermaid, nor Ariel belong to me, unfortunately, so all the rights belong to Disney.

The Little Mermaid is my favourite Disney film and the song Part of your World has always been my favourite song and you have captured this scene from the song and movie perfectly. This Painting is absolutely beautiful, I was wondering if I could have permission to pin this on Pintrest to my Disney board, once again this is such a beautiful Painting.

Thanks ^^ I got discouraged the whole time, but I reminded myself that the original was done by humans too, and that helped a little bit, as well as some inspiration from the appearance of someone special in my life...so you could say the stars aligned hahahaha

How do you do the outline? praphite? Which do you use? H8 or sth.?
and how do you get your colors so dark? mine stay all watery and clear

nackmu, danke, I love your drawings, specially the robsten one from the premiere! ^^ I actually used acrilics, but I watered them down, so they look like watercolors when they need to be pale/light/watercolour-ish, but they retain their opaque/dark/strong look when I applied them directly from the tube! The outline was done in a 2HB, but it was completely erased with a rubber, as soon as I had outlines done over with a fine brush and acrilic paint...hope it helps? Anyway!
