Hotaru and Rini, best friends, something more than that? I love the couple in either scenario, and so I decided to do a picture of them...in princess outfits, also practicing the new eye style if anyone cares. >_>Related content

Could be possible that Hotaru and Rini was each others' first crush, but over time (and also because of unfortunate events) their crushes for one another had turn into mutual friendship.

Yeah, though of course it could always be used that she's had to do the whole 'rebirth' thing again, cause in stars she was kind of the same age as chibiusa in the manga at the very least.

in the anime she quickly outgrew that phase(she was not as old as she was in the deathbusters arc, but definietly older than chibiusa) at least as far as i can remember...

very nice! i see you went with the anime version of chibiusa's dress, and you designed a new one for hotaru ^-^ it all looks nice,though it weirds me out a bit to see purple streaks in hotaru's hair XD and i'm not sure if chibiusa is taller than hotaru...then again,if she's wearing heels

the purple steaks were basically an attempt with lighting, I kind of like them, not sure if I'll do it again in future pictures of her. and yeah I went with the anime version mainly because I can't remember the exact layout of her Manga dress since it's been a while and the post on my desk at work has her in the anime dress so..>_>

I remember. I just for some reason didn't think of putting her in it when I drew it, I have the entire manga series on a flash drive (a gift from my friend Brooke) but I couldn't reference it at the time.
