Just take my hand; my sorrow. Take it and become Forgotten. I want to be remembered.I'll let you interpet the title as you like. I know what it means to me, but I'm not gonna tell. I want to see what you think.
Yeah, this was for *shilin 's Trancendance contest. I'm not going to win it. The coloring is epic fail. I'ma recolor it someday since I like the lineart.
I have a nice little write up to go with this, but if I posted it, it would give away parts of my story, and I don't want to do that.
Enjoy the mix of fail and win. It smells delicous.

'Fall to Rise' as a title, feels to me like you are saying that you need to fall (or fail) in order to rise up again from that failure. So in a sense it could be about being reborn to a better life or situation. The angel clasping out her hand is that help you need to just get you back on your feet. 
Beautiful look you have achieved on the wings ... I love the glowing heavenly look of them. It really instills a sense of power in your character. Lovely shading on the fabric too .. you have thought about your light sources well.

What I really like about it, is how you blurred things in the foreground, so as to bring focus to the background (If it can be called that, being as I wouldn't call the subject the background) by which I simply mean, when you focus on a persons face, anything closer to you than that, become blurred, and you pulled that off beautifully.

and i found the entries through these two ways...I went to shilin's list and basically copy/pasted nicks on the web address, and I used the search bar to search "transcendence". people went all out on this contest @@;
