Great Pic !! and your right about zoos, i love them, you do see something different everytime. I live in Newcastle and try to get down to taronga at least once a year.
I was down in Launceston a few weeks ago for a wedding, and one night i went back for a walk in the gorge and take some pics. It was really lovely and i got some great pictures, but the further i walked into the gorge, i kept hearing noises in the bush, and after a few drinks i started freaking myself out thinking "what the hell if one of these noises is a devil?" haha, so i walked just a little further, weary of every little noise, next thing about a metre beside me a possum came scurrying out of a bin!!!!! OMFG luckily no change of underwear was required, but i think i was close

yes it was caterack gorge, i just loved it !!
taronga is awesome, the last 5 years or so it has really gone through some big renovations, and the views are wonderful, it's on a hill right on the harbour opposite the city.
I went to Dubbo zoo about 3 years ago as well, it is really great too, it's on a massive piece of land and the animals have heaps of room.
keep up your great photography

I have been to Taronga a few times and it is continually improving. A day doesn't seem long enough to see everything.

i have a year pass for the 3 zoos in melb so i can go back many times, its a good investment, every time u go to the zoo u see something different even though they r the same animals

I never knew that there were 3 zoos in Melbourne. I've only been to Melbourne about 2 times and both times for work so no time to look around.
