[Edit]: Such an old picture, but this year I repainted the face and made some nicer changes overall! Still one of my favorites to this day.My new version of Colors of the Mind.
I submitted this to my school's contest instead of the old one, since I think it's alot better and all. : )

I like how you had black and white at the bottom and the top was very colorful. Very pretty

Really pretty colors and cool illustration! What I don't really like is how your put an actual photograph at the top of the picture, feels too 'real' to combine with your illustration's style.

Thanks! But, uh, it's not a photograph. XD; It's a cloud brush (that either I made, or I downloaded, I cant quite remembre) and the rest of it like the moon and stars and some parts of the clouds are all me.

They're a brush that a made a while back. Now that I think about it they might be half a photo and half done by me, but over all I basically drew them. But I keep them as a brush so when I need clouds it's just like CLICK instant clouds. 8D

lol, actually I made them a few months ago, I used a picture of clouds for a ref and tried to copy them exactly, then added it as a brush, so whenever I need clouds it's just a click away. ^_^

That is a very interesting concept - I love it. Though I do agree that the hairline is a little high - though that could be just because her hair is pulled upward.
But very cool, and I love the sky at the top.
