I know! I'm going to have to go with HK-47 though, because we get to see more of him.

But...! They're BOTH awesome! I can't pick! I needed to use cheats to assemble HK-47 in KOTOR II and never used him because there are more effective characters - you can make everyone suddenly a jedi - and the ending is complete BULL - I wait for KOTOR III - we get the MMO set about 200 or so years later - no word on KOTOR III.
*sigh*

I haven't beaten any of the storylines on the MMO yet since I just started playing this year and am a slow/casual gamer and I am really enjoying it so far. I guess I won't start really longing for another KOTOR game until I've at least beaten the MMO but I also understand wanting a KOTOR III, especially since I remember seeing this concept art for a character for KOTOR III awhile back and really wishing it had been made starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Naresh…

Yeah. Sadly, concept art isn't a guarantee the game will come to fruition. The MMO... I tried playing it, but MMOs are REALLY complicated nowadays. My first MMO was Guild Wars 2, but I latched onto a European server - I was afraid of "unpleasant" players being everywhere in a U.S. server - and it was less populated - but my brother wanted to play it with his friend, don't know if he still does, but it's 20,000 gems to switch servers(?), and I need to spend actual money for that, since getting them in-game would take forever - anyway, I made a necromancer (I love necromancers, and was ecstatic that I could play as one in a world where necromancy isn't illegal, evil, or frowned upon), and I played quite a bit of it, but I kind of faded from playing it, months at a time. Every time, there would be some MASSIVE update that rewrites stats or ability trees, which I'd need to figure out by making another necromancer and start from the bottom up, figure it out, and go back to my other necromancer (he's Lv. 54, I'm really bad at grinding and doing the side activities). The Old Republic - I didn't want to play as a jedi or a sith, I think they're overrated and a lot of people were using one, so I made a smuggler. I could not figure anything out at all. Fast-travel, shops, flashpoints, the map, all of it. I also didn't think we needed a "cat people" race in the Star Wars universe too, so I was a little bit turned off. Yes, if they do make a KOTOR III, I'm getting it - and it had better be GREATER than KOTOR II, which made NO sense after getting off of Peragus. What I would LOVE, is if they redid KOTOR II and made it good, so the story from that could run into III and not look really silly, but it probably won't happen. One can dream.
So long as no one makes a mod to turn every roll of toilet paper the right way (a REAL Fallout 4 mod).

Yeah it is unlikely that they'll redo KOTOR II unless they think they can make money off of it. For a KOTOR III....I think that is highly unlikely that they will make it as well because it was in development years ago but then got canceled when the company hit a rough spot, so it might also have sour memories for those who were working on it, I don't know, in any case even when the company recovered they ended up making the MMO instead so it certainly looks like they gave up on making a KOTOR III.

Yeah, it's EA though, right? If that's the case, I am absolutely NOT surprised. Go figure, man, the games I like are made by companies owned by EA, who get shut down after the game's release or hung out to dry (*cough*Kingdoms of Amalur*cough-wheeze), and KOTOR is another one. However, I could write my own revision of KOTOR II, maybe even publish it, because I HAVE seen books in that Star Wars storyline, I can't remember when, though. It might have been at the book store we went to where we used to live, which was, at the latest, before August in 2011, so I have no idea if they're still circulating. The cool thing about it? I don't think they'll make a movie for those games that nixes the after-lore, and I don't see the MMO as being something like that because...well...it's an MMO. I know there are novels for many MMOs (the only one I was interested in was Guild Wars 2, and at that, only the novels with Logan Thackeray as a character in it/them - he's voiced by Troy Baker, so, yeah...), but they don't override other novels for the same MMO, because it's pretty much published fanfiction, really (the best way I can describe it). A really darn shame. I really liked some of the characters in I and II: Most of I, except Canderus, Jolee is kind of odd, and Jutani is...basically space-cat lady, and a few in II: Atton, Bao Dur, the jedi masters you find, and some recurring characters from the previous game. KOTOR was really good, well written, and had a really good twist (at least I think so) - though, the playthroughs after the first, I saved Korriban for last, since Bastilla won't leave the ship there, and the event before the last of the four planet visits kind of takes care of that little issue. KOTOR II was just bad, especially compared to the previous installment, but now, since I've spent many hours of my life, that I will never get back, on Resident Evil 6, there's a bit of a resemblance between end-stage Simmons fight and the BlendTec blender victim of a sith lord ("sleeps with vibroblades", as Atton called him).
Seriously though, Amalur didn't get as much love as I think it should.
