And finally, the finished Bulkhead. I used Photoshop and a Wacom tablet to paint him. I think I might create a finished background for this one.Related content

The detail in his open palm is awesome, and those designs you have going in a few of the black areas give him a nice Cybertronian look X) I also really like how you relied more on your coloring rather than ink lines to define shape and volume, it's a very appealing look ^_^
Nice inking job, too, and the cracks/dents are nicely used, not overdone 
and no matter how tough Bulkhead looks, I'll always think he's adorable XD

Terrific job, Dan! The pose is outstanding! And I love the colors! I've got a Wacom pen. Had it for two years and never opened it! Is that the same as a Wacom tablet? Is it easy to use? I guess I should open it up and see for myself, but it was a gift so I'm not out anything if it sits...new stuff scares me sometimes!
Love Transformers Animated! They're easier for me to draw!

Thanks! Here is the tablet I have. I had it for nearly a year before I really used mine. It is the smallest tablet they make, hehe. They are so expensive!

He is my fav from the new show, too. Where did you get the big one? Transformers are interesting because they are so popular and awesome, yet no one ever draws the car or plane versions of them.

That's because it sucks to draw cars and planes when you can draw big, menacing robots! I put all my Transformers in robot mode!
Got the big Bulkhead at Wal-Mart! It lights up and says a couple lines from the show! THAT one DOES look better in vehicle mode...lots o' detail! Well worth pickin' up!
