Description
I did this model in the first year of my degree doing Character Creation and technical effects at the Uni of Hertfordshire. The brief was to create a character out of a household object. This came to mind and it just seemed like a nice idea. It didn't take very long to make. The spatula part was cut out of a piece of acrylic plastic. I used a heat gun to gently heat the plastic which allowed me to bend it into the appropriate position. The face, hands and feet were sculpted out of sculpey and then glued into place. The arms and legs were made with sturdy armature wire and secured into place with milliput. The clothing was made from a bit of black material i had left over from another project.Hope you like it!

Count Spatula is a damn cool guy. HeΒ΄s doing the elvis lip!
But humour aside, heΒ΄s awesome. Dracula would put this sculpt above his coffin if he got his hands on it

Very cool. I love these kind of projects. Some people don't do well with re-imagining things, but this really works. Fun stuff and nicely done.

I JUST made this joke the other day.
Lovely job! Very clever, and his pose is excellent-- as if he's poised for flight.

strangely enough... It looks like it was made with a spatula...
(The white/hole part of the cape with the head shape makes it look like it was made from a spatula*
Nicework :3
