Copic Brush Pens, they use an alcohol based ink so you can blend it smooth like this. They may be the best purchases I ever made

They look pretty amazing. Β I may need to look into them. Β I could never get paints to be as precise as I liked, but the colored pencils I use tend to go on blotchy.
