Agreed, Vilgax was WAY scarier and cooler looking in the original series, especially with that cool mask over his mouth. His design and credibility just got worse with each new spinoff series, the original was so much creepier and no matter how many times Ben managed to fend Vilgax off, he was ALWAYS scared of him when he came back (now Ben acts like he's too good for his oldest archnemesis).
