Description
I did a series of 4 paintings on Auswitch. It is such a horrific event and it has and is still having a major impact on me. I realise it might be sensitive to some, but art allows us to express what we feel. Painted from photos from a book. The tragedy is that the murdering of innocent people is happening today. We as a human species do not learn, and do not care.Related content

Why would anyone object to this? I am an ethnic (but not religious) Jew (some people will get that, but most won't - go wiki it) and I believe that if people forget about The Holocaust, it will happen again. It's sad that ethnic "cleansing" has to get on this scale before people really take notice.

I think your interpretation of this photograph is full of the feelings you stated - well done. I too have visited Auschwitz and its 'sister' camp, Birkenou, and felt the same, especially at Birkenou.
