For our Painting I class, we did a couple of warm-up paintings in black and white, so that we could get used to the oils. We had to use 3 hard-boiled eggs, a white plate, and a white background for this piece.-Oil on 14x11" canvas-

I love how the rendering in the BW oils makes them look shiney and metalic... I can imagine them feeling smooth and cool when you hold them
One of my favourite parts is the rim design on the plate, and how you drew that... it looks really neat! Like the edges of a pie or something
