That's an excellent concept. However, I feel as though perhaps it would benefit from a less centred composition, or another angle so it's not so dead straight. As it is, the composition is a bit dull. However, I do understand that you wanted your message to be clear. I would also suggest perhaps taking some of the orangey light out of it by perhaps taking it during the day time because this emphasizes the redness of the hand in a way that I don't find particularly flattering. Perhaps also experiment with backgrounds other than simply a wall. I hope you find this critique helpful and apologise if I've trod on your toes in any way.

I'll keep that in mind next time I go for a photo like this one. I'm not for sure on how to come up with a background.
Outside is, well not always the prettiest. I live facing a highway, and my parents hardly ever let me go anywhere far from home. But i'll try to next time.

The closest park is like, 5 miles away.
It's on what, we call, "Hooker Highway". I'm not alowed at the park since the shoot out there.
I don't have a backyard. Most of the bushes here are all dried up.
But, Problem will be solved in a few months, when I move states. It'll be prettier. hahah
