Well... I think I've made my fair share of progress this year.January - Did a gift art for one of my watchers. Still clinging to my I-think-I-can-draw-anime pipe dream.
February - Death note fan-art. I was relying heavily on reference photos to dictate composition and lighting for me. Oh wait, I'm still doing that...
March - Did a grid-style sketch of a stock image here on dA. This is were I think I started realizing that I like realism more than anime.
April - Stared a Donnie Darko digital painting that I didn't finish until June.
May - Yeah, I was too busy writing that month...
June - So begins my Supernatural obsession... Jensen Ackles "speed-painting" that took me an entire month to finish.
July - Got a new digital art program called ArtRage. Another Jensen Ackles sketch (a bad one, at that).
August - Decided to show Jared Padalecki some love. That painting was a bitch to finish.
September - Moved to this account from my old one! Did a zombie painting to commemorate my username and growing fascination with the zombie/horror genre.
October - I was given the opportunity to be a zombie extra on a new "reality" show called The Zombie Factor in which contestants participate in challenges and someone dies in every episode. This colored sketch was based off a photo that my friend took of me while I was in my zombie make-up.
November - Started stalking my friend on Facebook XD Stole one of her pictures and turned it into my favorite digital piece to date.
December - Lots and lots of sketching! I haven't done a single "finished" work this month, but I've got lots of ideas. I have about three different stories that I'm writing and drawing - maybe I should do a comic?
We'll see where 2011 takes me!
