In my journal, I said how I wanted to gather some influence from . Weeeelll, let's just say it didn't really work. I officially can't manage that adorable cartoon flair of hers. But I did manage to learn a few things, at least.

This line art looks so much better on paper. Curse my tiny scanner - notice how it looks fuzzy on the far left?

From left to right, this is Jarrett Carver (Instinct's narrator), Ezekiel Gold (Jarrett's love interest), Ryan McMan (Jarrett's gay friend), and Justin Whitman (Ryan's boyfriend). They are the outcasts at school - Jarrett because of his social awkwardness, and an unfortunate coming-out left relatively no one on his side; Zeke because of his family's "old money" which doesn't exactly fly in a school full of filthy rich teens; and Ryan and Justin because they aren't afraid to make out in the middle of the courtyard.
