Wow, I've drawn so much fanart lately that I forget to upload some of it here..
I was a bit disappointed by Kiba in the last chapter, acting all grumpy toward Akamaru because he’d become old. But I like to think that Kiba feels guilty about it and that he apologizes to Akamaru when they’re alone. Of course Akamaru’s like “dude, all’s forgiven. I know you love me more than anyone else,” because dogs are like that. They can forgive you for anything.
I also think that Kiba has moments when he gets incredibly sad watching Akamaru deteriorate like that. Thinking about his buddy trying, and failing, to keep up when they’re out during the day. He’ll snuggle up against Akamaru on his pillow, bury his face in Akamaru’s fur and cry because he doesn’t know how long he can feel his best friend’s warmth like this.

Couldn't agree more. I'm very glad you like it despite not knowing were it's from. Dog love is universal.
My own dog is showing signs of getting older and it hurts me so much (especially because I study quite far from home and can only see him once every two months)..

I know, my dog is starting to get older as well. It's heartbreaking that such a loving species has such a short lifespan.

for me ninken hare a separate breed from normal dogs.and live very long lives. for the ability of speak- for me is a bred ability and take from the parents

Yeah they should live very long, so I think it's pretty weird that Akamaru got that old so fast. I mean, compared to other ninken, not to regular dogs. Maybe he's a special case, as he never picked up speaking skills either..

the bad thing, to be cynical, is that many of the combat abilities of kiba derive from akamaru .ora does not seem that his clan is expected to acquire a new animal.

Yeah that thought crossed my mind as well. Seems kind of like a mistake in the story...
Kuromaru was still vital in Shippuden and according to Narutopedia Tsume was 39 then. Kiba was probably not even 30 in the last chapter so that's kinda weird..

for my an old AND WEAK akamaru is a mystake from kishimoto. from other things in naruto the olds shinobi hare very strong: hyruzen, chiyo or oonoki only to naming some.

Yeah it sucks pretty hard. Like you said, Kiba's probably pretty useless without Akamaru, so I assume Inuzuka retire with their dogs and for Kiba that's like 50 years to early when you consider that Oonoki was still fighting at 80 or something.
Ok maybe he's not such a good example as he's the Tsuchikage, but there's also Maruboshi Kosuke (the eternal genin), who I guess is like 65..
This is actually just one of the many things about the last chapter that I have questions about and would've liked to have seen turn out differently.

i love the character of Maruboshi Kosuke even if a filler|anime only figure.
the chapter 700 for my have the problem of being too short in pages Naruto has too many characters and too extensive to end in such a short space.
Naruto also has among its themes the generational transition, both from parents to children who in turn become parents but also from master to student, who in turn will be the master of the new generation

Yes, I agree. The transitions were usually so gradual and all of a sudden we're over 10 years later. Huge timelaps can be interesting, but there should be an opportunity to explain the changes that occured. I could accept Akamaru's early retirement if there was a good reason for it and I'm sure there is, but we will never know, will we? Same for questions like how come Anko has started overeating and how on earth did Chouji end up with Karui? I'm going to stop there because I could go on for a long time.
Until there's an explanation I choose to take from chapter 700 only what inspires me, when it inspires me, and stick to headcanons for everything else.

timelaps hare good for boring time- and training time as boring time.- but to end to IV ninja war every rookie 9 hare to the apex of fighting ability for me and deploiment hare for is role in the village AND as parent. not only for love but akin for the future aka new generation
for me for example tobirama is the "father"of danzou ed hiruzen . shinobi family not hare only for blood but for bonds,as Teammates.
in my fiction shinigami for example choza is invited to the funeral of danzou in representing to Akimichi Torifu.

yes but fans unfortunately often have misconceptions. must be able to evaluate
for example, I appreciate that Naruto has married with sakura hinata rather than because the two are the difference between first love and love for life

Yeah, me too. But for the same reason I'm not too thrilled about Sakura and Sasuke ending up together. Sasuke has been nothing but abusive toward Sakura and she's been trying to manipulate him emotionally most of the time and I approve of neither. They're a terrible couple.
I actually thought Rock Lee was a great match for Sakura.

I must say that I think that maybe sasuke does not know to be become father
sasuke and sakura not hare a bad couple for my rather they are not nice people
differently are selfish and narcissistic
for example in shinigami shikamaru kills sasuke- after the clash with the four of sound- and Sasuke for years plans his revenge, obsessively
for me lee and tenten are characters that transmit their heritage to students not to children, just like gai

I believe that Kishimoto showed everyone who ends up with someone with their partner. If that's true, Tenten probably doesn't have a boy/girlfriend (haha, as if Kishimoto would even consider a gay relationship) and neither does Lee. So I don't think that kid with Lee is his, in a biological sense.

Seeing Akamaru in the final chapter made me wonder about the fate of Pakkun and Kakashi's other Ninken

That's very well possible, but I don't think all of them are regular dogs. That is, I remember an episode in which Kiba complained that Akamaru couldn't talk, unlike Pakkun, and someone (maybe it was himself) said that Ninken learn to speak when they grow older. I don't think regular dogs, even though we're talking about the Naruto world, can learn to speak.
Anyway, now you made me sad.. Thinking about Kakashi steadily losing every member of his pack.

No he isn't a summon, but he is is a ninken. I don't think he's not a normal dog because, besides the talking, assuming that he was given to Tsume when she was in her early teens, he'd be 30 years old in Shippuuden and that's twice as old as a normal dog's maximum age.
