I drew Roberto from the Capcom game "Rivalschools" for Because ruphia was my 100,000 page viewer.I'm still practicing my drawing skills, a bit more now even, but I still just don't like what I'm creating with my pencil skills. Hope to get some real art classes after college.
In anycase this one's for you ruphia!

Rivalschools is the best fighting game ever... well, for me anyway. I loved that game so much. I need to find a copy of it... anyway, you captured this duder perfectly!!! I love your work so much, Dan. And its good to see you posting stuff. The colors are amazing as usual but once again, i'd love to see the line art. Don't deprive me of your lineart, mister.

Being *REALLY* picky maybe the muscles in his left leg are a bit too big, but that's a Capcom character, and they're always drawn too buffed up, so that's no big thing...
The colors are GREAT, specially the clothes, and the angle/pose is cool too.
I know the character and where he comes from, but I can't help but think of "Captain Tsubasa" (I dunno if you've seen the series, but being a soccer manga/anime, here in Spain it was a total craze, almost to Dragon Ball levels...

Dan- this looks amazing...aside from your mad skills as an artist colorist, your pencils are tight as well. the energy is there, however I would have loved to have seen the player's head looking down over his right shoulder to show more focus and determination as if he were about to kick the shizzle out of that ball. all in all solid man solid!

not bad, there are some problems with the foot that is swinging. It appears to be a seperate foot, not like its connected to the person. Also the head has the problem with the visor, where the angle of the visor itself does not match the head. The soccer ball also is blury, I don't understand why...

Definitely see what you mean on the first two critiques. The head definitely looks screwy with the hat, and the foot is definitely not connecting as you pointed out.
But for the blur, I wanted to give the ball a rolling motion. I Think you mean why is the ball rolling so much. It's just for effect. I'm pretty sure that in real life the ball would not be rolling so fast, but this is the capcom world and things do tend to be unreal.

Actually have you read "The Four Constable" He did the colors to that book, quite amazingly. I think he's capable of such colors but not all the time, as he's freakishly busy. But in this book I think you can clearly see that he can go further with the colors.
