Don't watch that, watch the first one. That's a classic.

actually got the first one on VHS. unfortunately I haven't been able to get my hands on a DVD of the first one. but yeah, that one's cool too.
what I loved about those movies was how - IMO - true to the character they stayed. Raph was a grumpy fellow. somethin' that back then you couldn't really count on makin' it into the movie.

"Best Buy" has them cheap because they're very old movies.

That one dot flare on his shell.... seems a bit out of place for me. @_@ If the crit is annoying, please forgive me.
Other wise, a lovely picture for character setting.

Looks great, kinda has a TNMT movie feel to it. Great capture of the character.

looks pretty awesome, but what is the little tail like thing? looks like a part of his undershell sticks back, wouldn't that be uncomfortable when he runs?

it their tail. I to don't care for it, but they have them in the comics. so It's not something that I think I can get rid of unfortunately.

I do believe artists can take liberties in concepts. Unless bound by contract or boundaries of a commission, I don't think you should limit yourself to doing something you feel seems out of place in a character design. The tail is a bother, to say the least. It is respectable to honor the original concepts, but such a change wouldn't be a bad decision.

This is great. It'd be awesome to see you color the Splinter lines you drew up. This is really tight work.
