Here are the character designs for Raph, Don, Leo, Mikey, and April from the teenage mutant ninja Turtles.I'm running out of time for me to work on my senior projects and type up 10 annotated bibliographies. So excuse my crappyness on these.
Let me know if you think April looks stupid with that outfit. Should I make the skirt longer, give her high heels?
These characters are not under the same lighting, just to let you know. Etc.

I like em. but something about the colors seem off... maybe shuffle up the skin tones. give donnies color to raph, raphs color to leo, and leos color to donnie.

Dude, if this is what you call crappy, then I've gotta see what you call AWESOME.
I like the gloomy sort of atmosphere you've added to this char design sheet, it lends a sort of gritty, modern-noir depth which hints at the nature of the story.
My one gripe isn't so much a gripe as it is a personal quirk--to me, April looks like something of a departure from how she's usually portrayed. I'd suggest either a yellow jacket or red hair, so fans know it's her. Otherwise, it's all good.

God I didn't realize how many pages of comments there were, heh i posted after reading page 1.
I'd leave everything exactly how it is. I would suggest another set of designs. I'd like to see your take on splinter, shred, casey, and maybe a foot soldier.
I think people are forgetting here that you dont need to draw a char how they were in one version of a series. Theres like 4 or 5 volumes of the comicbook, 3 series of a show, 4 movies now.
You have great designs. Keep using your imagination man.

Originally April had brown curly hair. Eastman based her of off actress/model Julie Strain whom he ended up marrying.

i like it. It's pretty sweet but you cropped off the top of April's head....I dunno if anyone pointed that out, but that's a no no.

i think the skirt and shoes are alright, but i think the face and hair are off a little.
I think the turtles look awesome though.

the shoes are good it give realism but maybe put her in yellow. green and yellow are real good together

I think you've done a good job here. I grew up with theMirage cmics and then the Archie TMNTA comics, and then exposer to the old 80's toon. Ididn't care for how campy it was. So I'm not going to complain about April not in a bannanna suit.
As a stand alone reinterpretation, these concepts kick ass. Nice work!

Well, I would make her skirt shorter and her hair more orange like the cartoon. Her outfit is excellent, a real reporter. I liked Mike's arms and legs protectors.

The first four pretty cool looking but april just looks lame. yeah indeed in my childhood particularly my early childhood i loved the ninja turtles original cartoon and the live-action movies of the 80s but now that i look back on it they're pretty lame. i think the ninja turtles should go back to something along the line of thier heavy metal magazine routes but just a bit different. maybe that'll erase the messy stain of the cartoons and movies(particularly the newer cartoon and the cg movie.

neh that's ok this one was actually done in 2004, way old stuff, I've allready said that I didn't like the April that I did for it. For sure I'll be making her hotter when I do the character sheet for her now.

I like the added armor. leos push dagger was a nice touch. I can see his swords being knocked out of his hands, spinning away on the ground, and him resorting to this little beauty. april just dosn't look right without red hair...of course I have always been partial to the redheads (maybe because of my facination with tmnt as a kid.....lol). Great job!

i love the rendering, reminds me of some Feng Zhu stuff, but i have too say it's a little too goofy grin for donatello, and definetly heels on april, hey have you caught any of the new tmnt cartoons on tv? love to see maybe a rendering of casey jones or the shredder, that would be awsome in your style!
