Oddly enough, the style reminds me of a cross between old new england type wood panel portraiture and a rousseau painting. Random, but there you go.

You finished it, that's really cute, I have my little daughter (2.5 years old) here in my lap and instantly she screamed "Oooh, look at the kitty, so sweet...but the kitty is a bit afraid, so the girl has to protect it! And then she can ride the horsie".
