I really like it. The color scheme is great and nothing stands out too much. It is very coherent together. The frame works with it nicely too. I also like the shading of it. The only thing I have a problem with is that my eyes can't really find a strong focal point so they have to go all over the place. I think that might be due to the background behind the fox mixed with the busy-ness of the frame. Other than that I think it is a wonderful piece and that you should keep up the good work.

I wonder if you made it a little darker if it would help. It might be because it's the same color used in the frame. (It is the same color right?) I think that would help off set it a little bit and make the fox stand out more.

Yeah it's the same (metallic gold). Β I was worried about adding a random color, but I probably should have just grabbed one of the shadow shades from the fox. Β Eh, live and learn. Β I've done a few nouveau style, but never anything this intricate. Β I may have gotten carried away... lol.

I think maybe something the same tone as the gold but maybe not metallic. But yeah it still looks great so still be super proud of it! You learn with every piece you make and everything you try.

It definitely takes some getting used to (and a good pencil sharpener is a must), but you'd be surprised how much you can actually get in there.
