The surprise card I had made for my trade with
I wanted to make sure she got it before I posted it up on here. It's also my first foray into watercolors (I got a huge set of them for X-mas this past year, and I've just been staring apprehensively at them)! This is a very beautiful wolf but once again I am having trouble seeing where the light is coming from with the shading. Also the left back leg is very off. It doesn't look quite right. It should be a bit more angular than round like drawing a joint instead of a bend. There also should be some shading around the eye, the left front leg towards the bottom and it starts going underneath (If that makes sense.), and around the toes. For the most part it's really good but since before you said you were having trouble with shading I would suggest looking into it on the internet or getting a book and figuring out the anatomy a little better because the back leg looks like a banana in a way. (Sorry ^^ I actually had a pet wolf several years ago so I know exactly what they look like.) Also maybe making the wolf a little thinner and fluffier would have been a good idea since they don't really eat a ton and they have around 2 layers of fur. Thanks and I'm glad you didn't take my critique in a mean way XD I just nit pick at stuff with wolves since I had one. She was black and white with one super light blue eye and one brown eye. *^* She was so bootiful! XD

Yeah she was a bug sweetie. She was always next to me when I was a baby, like she HAD to be right by me and if I moved and inch she would be propped up and watching me. XD Her name was Cheyenne and she was one of the biggest beauties I had ever seen. I can look at the drawing again and nit pick if you want but those were just some major flaws I saw. I thought it was pretty good compared to others I have seen.
