Although sometimes the meaning changes slightly...

Like I'm a busy bee, means in my language that you are always working and busy with a lot of energy as in English it means something completely different I once offended somebody with that phrase after that I started adding the 'translated literally brackets'

Ha!  Sounds like someone had a bee up their butt, because that's totally what I would take it to mean.  Besides, I'm almost impossible to offend without hurling direct insults (which I'll most likely hurl back with a wink and a smile ).  People need to chill- especially on the internet where inflection and translation don't always come through.
