I survived band camp. I live in a hot afΒ desert so band camp is absolutely awful, especially during 110 degree weather. Right now, we have our 2 movements done and we're beginning our last next week. We're getting to the point where everything starts sticking together and we have our work completely done.Β
Now we're gonna be starting winterguardΒ in around thanksgiving. And we had a very successful season last year (undefeated except for our one WGI competitonΒ in Union City which we placed 2nd. my junior year, I played Marimba in pit and during a practice a guard girl whacked the Marimba. I was intense. I wish it would have been me. Marimba's aren't cheap!

My HS band director would neverrrr let us diss any other sport unless we played on the team; and if anyone not in band made a comment about marching band, he'd hand them a flute in its case, and tell them to show him how to do it differently. XD
