There are much better female characters than Kairi. She's just so useless, it's hard to like her and that's still taking into account the random new Keyblade she got since she only used it for one scene.

I guess. The design is alright, but when I played The World Ends With You and noticed that Shiki at least is an ally for fighting (not the best one) and noticed how similar she looks like Kairi, I started to dislike Kairi so much more.
There's also the fact I recently finished the cartoon Avatar the Last Airbender and in it just about every single female character is so strong and capable or eventually becomes that way. When you experience that and switch back to something with weak female characters like KH or Naruto, it just feels annoying. That's my two cents.
