It's a really great study. I think that it's most successful where the figure emerges slowly from the negative space. I kind of wish that you'd held back on the linear element though. It distracts from the quiet moments elsewhere in the piece.

The colors remind me of Giacometti in form. (a favorite of mine) Beautiful work, just enough information given, just enough not to make a statement.

Reminds me so much of Despair from Neil Gaiman's The Sandman. I love the surreal asects and how you can fathom her face.
