Description
There was no hesitation for the blue lizard Digimon to catch up to the running dragonfly, only to help him out of his problems that the insect was unaware of this danger that could have happened for himself as a handicapped bug with no wings or stinger to protect himself. Veemon made haste for good and saw how Danjim was trying to climb up on a tree to be in a 'safer' zone. This was quickly rejected by the gripping hand of the Digimon as he could see the danger for the bug's own wishing of being left outside all alone. Even for the Digimon himself, he felt pity of his own wrongdoings of biting off the wings of the poor dragonfly, but only at the costs of being tricked to have gotten free from the ropes he was at the wooden pole at the camp.

Nevertheless, the two of Veemon and Danjim both were feeling the need to express their emotions, with Danjim rather screaming and crying in shock to have been catched, only to be feeling more torture incoming, perhaps even death itself? But all of that was never the case for the compassionate, caring and helpful lizard Digimon when he had his little buggy friend at his palms, seeing him shed the tears from the frightening sight of a larger creature. Little did he know that Veemon has kept the memory of him and soon was wiping the tears just to make sure the dragonfly was looking back at the smiling Digimon, only to realize that Veemon was harmless and a warm-hearted fellow that would protect him just like the time Danjim protected his own friend by force of the mind controlling poison.

Soon this side effect of the mind controlling has lead to the memory being kept within Veemon's mind, and soon it was time to feed his little, defenseless bug-friend. Fortunately there was a small chestnut cracking underneath the big lizard foot of Veemon, and he kindly gave it all to the dragonfly, reminiscing the times he has fed him a coconut aswell as giving a well-deserved wellness of a foot massage. This will very likely not be the last time Veemon does that to his dragonfly-friend. And now the tables have turned for who to protect. Now, at all costs, the lizard Digimon is taking care of Danjim and has deliberately made his decision of abandoning his former friends, the crew members. Another good thing that the former leader of this Digimon crew has had for his dragonfly-friend is that there is going to be someone else that could welcome the dragonfly to this world of Digimon. Namely Gabumon.

And after the small starving dragonfly has enjoyed his meal by nomming all the bits of his chestnut, Veemon then made his moving farther north to take a long journey, worth every step away just to leave the crew in good conscience.
