Description
The dawn's cool winds, the fog that contaminated the atmosphere and the echos of a predator's howlings have made a stray and inquisitive dragonfly fly towards the cityscapes where lights have just turned on inside the houses. It was indeed a risk to let go of his own hunger and thirst, but it was rather the cold that had Danjim take shelter and were going to have high chances to meet the town's inhabitants. Not for too long to decide, he flew to where the lights shone the brightest. A nearby house with the window staying open the whole night long. It seemed rather tempting for Danjim to enter such warmth and coziness that made him feel the need to get in as fast as possible before someone would probably close it down. Eitherway, when the dragonfly entered no one were to be seen nor heard, as he was scouting around the area for a few seconds before he landed on an oval-shaped carpet at someone's living room, where chairs and couches all were surrounding where Danjim was staying under a wooden table aswell. He got to fly close to one of the table's feet and was holding off position, as he did spot that the table was also made out of glass when the top was transparent, which made the dragonfly be even easier to spot. However, Danjim was not giving up hope if he was going to be spotted or not.

What he could be able to see very clearly from the table's legs were potato chips remaining on the carpet and which was very close to the dragonfly's own view of them. At first the dragonfly started to think that these were house critters and had their moments in their life to finally be gathered altogether and speak to eachother, but truly, Danjim was not understanding anything from what small potato chips were to be saying. They were just bound to be muted, edible and... destructible. Not for too long, a yellow and brown antropomorphed cat was strolling his way and crushed the potato chips underfoot, making the dragonfly feel uncomfortable to be moving in and to look for the crushed 'bugs' before he was out of the dragonfly's own visibility. The cat could feel his yellow foot stepping onto the chips and was lifting his foot right after to have a view of his sole that was now filthed up more than he was wanting to. It was giving the foot an extra salty taste, the toes and the pads were seen clearly with some remaining chips stuck to them. The light musk of foot scent was what could be printed on the chips that were kept lying on the floor but was crushed into more pieces. The cat was lowering the foot back down and had to have his breakfast time before he was going to clean it up for later, if not the guilty house mate was going to do it for him. He resumed to where he was going at his path, while Danjim still was hiding under the table and felt uneasy to be seen himself as the next unawarely crushed victim. And just when the cat were not to be seen again from the living room, the dragonfly took his opportunity and flew over to the crushed potato chips where he thought for the last time that they could try and answer the dragonfly back about their current condition of getting stomped by a large cat paw, but it was too late for them 'speak'. Danjim hesitated to think of the bad stuffs once again, likely the way he was taking his journey. He wanted some food to end his hunger, the daredevil of the dragonfly's sin have made him go eat his fellow critterly friends, just to keep going for his own survival. But just as soon as he picked one piece of chip up, he found out it was all just food. He was probably never going to figure what they were made of, but he could clearly see it was definitely not some crushed bugs that was witnessed from himself. He could spot it was man-made food that was completely edible and far from having him become the cannibalistic dragonfly that would've changed his own herbivoral diet. The whole mystery have been solved, and Danjim could remain calm for now, and to start eating up potato chips to be keeping himself away from starvation.
