Small catch though:Β In the 1st 'Bounty-Hunter wars' novel, Fett's armor was completelyΒ incineratedΒ byΒ the Sarlacc'sΒ acid, leaving only his helmet...

If I remember right he was actually rescued by another Bounty Hunter (the guy who is wearing all those wraps and cloth on the star destroyer meeting with his girlfriend or so?) - They were nursing him after the rescue since he was almost dead and needed a long time to recover..
