Description
Been very busy with work as of late, hence the slow down in art, so I cooked this up during the weekend. It's another attempt at a less realistic style, more fantasy, etc. I don't do much of this type of stuff, so it was very refreshing.Never let anyone stand in your way, I guess is the message here
Enjoy guys
PS CS3.

There's a little "report deviation" tag above your file info for this. I never noticed it before on any other deviations. I wonder what the deal is?

That's a great conceptual piece... if I used the term right.
Our hero stands at the peak of a high, rocky precipice. His cape flows nearly sideways in the strong winds. His shield steady, and sword in hand, he awaits his mighty enemy, beckoning it to come closer to his blade. He can feel the moisture on the breath of his salivating foe as it draws near, ready to devour him. But he is prepared, and does not waiver. He knows where to strike.
I find it odd that the castle in the background is tilted all the same way and not in various directions. I guess the dragon just toppled it slightly, LOL.

I like the cartoonyness of the knight, and the arrows in the dragons neck.

Amazing!
It brings all kind of pessimistic and sad feelings to my mind. Like if all the bravery of the knight came only from the negative, from just standing at such a vicious beast, alone.
No glitter from a magic sword or armor, just he against the beast. It's like life sometimes, when we are all alone and standing no chance. But we still fight, and if we fight well, with all our will, we may stand a chance.
Anyway, never mind me.
Very good work.

Phwaaaah .... great job. Kind of makes you wonder how the knight managed to rescue the princess with this sort of guardian (why the dragon would want a human maiden and not eat her is another matter).

Great job !!
I really like your rendering, especially the texture of the dragon, really amazing. However i think the cloak of the knight is maybe a little too.. red, compare to the background... but it's a detail ^^'.
Anyway .. Very good work.

"never let anyone stay in your way"? I figured that the message would be "make sure the size of your sword is equal in proportion to the boss you're taking on" or something...

woah.. That knight is toast..
Poor thing, his last thoughts probably revolve around the fact that that dragon looks like he needs a breathmint.
Awesome work!

The knight isn't up to par considering the standard of its surrounding and the dragon especially.
Very cool stuff otherwise though.
