Description
Been very busy with work as of late, hence the slow down in art, so I cooked this up during the weekend. It's another attempt at a less realistic style, more fantasy, etc. I don't do much of this type of stuff, so it was very refreshing.Never let anyone stand in your way, I guess is the message here
Enjoy guys

from seeing this one from start to finish i must say its one of my fav. pieces of urs. i absolutely love the colors you chose for it. however the knights sheath appears to small to hold his sword but i really don't think thats a major issue when about to get eaten by a giant dragon....

well then the Cloverfield monster took the snout from a T-rex or basically any other reptile

i would hate to be that guy! photoshop work like this is very impressive to me. i really appreciate how artists like yourself and others use it as any other medium. it's no different than paint and you paint well with it!

you know that i'm recently forcing myself to not post comments just like "great" or "wooow", "great work" and short simple comments like those. But then i browse my watching list, and this is awaiting me, i open it and when it loads...my brain turns butter, the only thing that i can properly write is "Amazing!", but after the first impressioni force myself to think on soemthing more complex, and then i end writing all this annoying shit so say the same i was trying to avoid: Awesome work mate, i love it, it's a pitty that with your great skills you don't draw some more fantasy. The only thing that slightly dissaponts me it's something about the perspective of the mouth, but overal is really impressive, and you say that you made it in just this weekend...i hate you twice

Holy hell....I know you said you weren't going to realism, but that is one of the most realistic/frightening dragons I've ever seen.

Nice job Dan! For some reason the dragon's face reminds me of Uncle Deadly from the Muppet Show [link] , but that's a compliment as he was one of my favorite characters on the show lol.

Great piece!!
But I would flip the pic - the composition works better and the dragon becomes more powerful if he approaches from the left ...imo.

I think its cool that youre trying new things, however i think a good deal of practice is still in order. Most notably is the awkward perspective on the face of the dragon. I also know youll likely never read this.
