Finally done. For now..A few months ago I discovered Frank Frazetta and his amazing work. Can't believe I had never heard of him before.. Anyway, I bought the book Frank Frazetta: ICON.
And got amazed. Got inspired.
So this is kind of a tribute to him. The way the man designs and composes his pieces is amazing.
And I tried to utilize all the knowledge and information I have been sucking up for half a year now. And I'm pleased on how it turned out. And it was a lot of fun.

There is another book of Frazetta's art, it is entitled Legacy. I have both of these books.

Hey, I was wondering, and you can say no to this, its not a big deal. My forum is holding its monthly card creation contest based on the Magic: the Gathering card game and I was wondering if I could use this picture for art for my card. The contest is strictly non profit and just for fun, its merely to test our creative and designing skills in creating our own cards. Even at 2000+ views, this is tragically underexposed. The bright, contrasting colors, the AMAZING energy, and don't even get me started on the character designs. Beautiful, awesome work.

Omg, fantastic job! You captured the movement very good, and it's all very dynamic. The dragon/snake creature looks very imaginative (allthough I'd run if I saw him for real xD) Love those teeth. And the man is also very realistic, you see the muscles, and such, and the I don't see any anatomical errors. A definate

that is just awesome, did a good job studying frazetta, really like how you gave it such great movement, you can really feel the speed of the snake... extremely dynamic piece

ofcourse I do. This monster is really great and you know I like all you do. Let me tell you one thing about the composition. I think theres a big slot empty (is this the name?) in the midel of the ilustration, hum... I dont know it gives the sensation that something have not enogh strenght, maybe the snake. Or maybe you should put more human figures, Like women, as Frazzeta does, to fit this slot. hope you dont get mad with my comment man

Thanks, I see your point and i kind of agree, Though I wanted them to face each other like right before the battle. maybe I should rename the painting, because the aren't really battleling.. yet. But i should have worked more on that negative space between them, your absolutely right.
