The driver compartment eats up a lot of space. Even if it was half the interior size it would be plenty. You can delete a road wheel, use a set of three boogies with two wheels each (like some German suspension technologies).
Turret side hatches or enlarge the turret top backwards, and delete the cupola rear side bulge for better armour manufacture labor saving design. Forward driven sprocket was preferred by the Germans for an automotive advantage but later this design was switched to a rear driven design for combat effectiveness, symmetrical turret ring (wider turret rings) weight saving and increase of interior space and lower profile.
