the photo i was working off of was like, 5x5 and my drawing was like, 20xsomething so i used a grid to help keep it accurate.

She's hard to depict and you nailed it. I don't have the patience for pencil... all the erasing and the paper gets smudgy and paintshop has an edit feature, undo. heh heh heh.

i never quite got the hang of doing it on the computer...i can't get good control over the mouse and it always comes out shamefully bad. i need one of those pen thingis, because that 'edit feature' sounds really appealing, lol. thanks again for the nice comment!

I tried the pen thingy and it isn't all it's touted to be. Do you have a laser mouse? If not, that will really help I think and they are less than 20 dollars (plug it in and reboot the computer). Also, if you're running a windows environment, you can go into Control Panel / Mouse / Pointer Options, and adjust the sensitivity of the mouse so that it moves slower, giving you less jumpy, sudden movements.
