He reminds me of an character from the old series, THE DEMOLISHER, who was my favourite one shot character that series, part do to the fact he how powerful he was. Diffrent breed, a Thylacine and build though.
Demolisher: It's all I know. It's all I can do. Without fighting, I am nothing.
Lion-O: Then fight for a cause, Demolisher. Something you believe in.
Demolisher: Never! I have no cause! I believe in nothing!
Demolisher: (Laughs) There's nothing better than a good fight.
Lion-O: But why?
Demolisher: If you don't fight, you don't conquer. And if you don't conquer, you don't exist!

I was thinking the same thing. The way I see it, Dobo is this universe's Demolisher. Nice quotes BTW. That was one of my favorite episodes. All hail Demolisher!

To be honest... I never read the comics Wildstorm did. I only saw a few pieces and heard about some of the plot points. From what I saw the creative teams really put their hearts into it. I was too heartbroken from getting the project taken away from me, I couldn't look too close. I'm buddies with Brett Booth and I'm glad he took a spin on it. He was arguably as much as a fan as I was. I know they did a Doberman character, we just didn't use anything from the comics as our source material. We just wanted to stay true to the original cartoon and go from there.
