Steven's for Connie you say? Eh, with the way Steven acts around Connie, I don't think so. This far in the show, we'd be seeing something... more, I'd say, from Steven's end of their relationship. Connie has a definite crush, but Steven? Not from what I can tell. The parallel between Steven and Connie and Pearl and Rose is quite strong.
But so is Steven and Peridot and Rose and Greg, the more we go on. Obviously we'll need more episodes of the two around each other (which we'll be getting no doubt), but it seems strong at this point in time.
As for this leak... Now, where have I seen such gestures before? Oh yeah, in Anime, which this show is heavily influenced by. This is the first time we see Peridot grab on to his arm like this, a gesture, which in Anime, is often used between two potential love interests. Oftentimes in Anime, a girl will cling to a male's arm for protection, much like what Peridot is doing here, or to be clingy, which Peridot seems to be.
So don't lose hope my friend. If they are indeed developing Stevidot into canon, they will develop it slow and natural.

Oh yeah, ship 'em like FedEx. There's even Stevidot fan art on my DA. I was just explaining how a Connie/Steven/Peridot love triangle could end up like the Pearl/Rose Quartz/Greg situation in the actual canon. I mean, when you think about, Connie is just like a younger version of Pearl and we all know it was Greg, the outsider (Peridot), who won over Rose Quartz's (Steven's) heart. I don't know, maybe I'm over analyzing.
