I guess the reason why he didn't turn in the actual show is because Exile is immune to it. I guess it comes from what he said about Huskies being closely related to wild wolves.

sort of.... the story behind it is, Exile's DNA getsinfected with canomutant DNA, and it turns him into this huge, drooling, savage monster

They could have Exile say it in a deep monstrous tone of voice out of instinct, since Exile says that all the time.
