At long last, here it is: The cover to Issue #2 of New Super Mario Adventures! (Told ya we were still working on it!)Though, the issue itself won't begin for a little, I figured we'd put this up to tide you guys over, and to let you guys start speculating as to where the plot might headed.

Yeah, I definitely wanted to make Princess Peach independent and capable of defending herself in this version. Gotta attack those age-old stereotypes sometimes, ya know? : P
Also, yes, the original Super Mario Adventures was a huge influence, with some small bits from the Super Mario Bros. Super Show here and there, for good measure.

So I've been meaning to catch up on what I've missed but so far it really does seem like the Archie approach to making a Mario Bro. comic (save for better pacing from what I've seen Ian Flynn is a very good writer but he has pacing issues imo) keep up the great work DannyΒ
